I was entitled "Project Manager" for Capstone, a publication yearly printed by graduating art students. As my Senior Project, I was able to experience pre-press, printing on a nice Heidelberg, file collection, managment, and publication design. This was a huge real-world experience with deadlines, press checks, and hunting down students for their designs.

This was the page I submitted for the publication. My style in college was very Asian, and Hip Hop influenced. Since then, I have learned to cater designs to corporate and other independent businesses. I have realized that you cannot just design whatever you want, but what fits best for the project and client.

I also designed the inner pages of the publication, including the index shown here. The grid and line work are from one of our core foundation art classes which included studies of grids, organization, and layout design.

Throughout the publication we carry the same theme using the grids and linework reminiscent of the core foundation classes each art student has to partake.
